FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

+ How long does order processing take?

Orders placed before 11:00am PST will generally be shipped out on the same day*. Orders placed after 11:00am PST will generally be shipped out on the following day with the exception of orders placed on a Friday. Those orders will ship out on the following Monday or next business day (if Monday is a holiday). You will be notified via email once your order has been shipped. Shipping times can vary based on method chosen and delivery location. International orders must clear import/export regulations which could add to the shipping time of an order. International customers will be responsible for all taxes and duties associated with the shipment of their order.

Orders are shipped via the method chosen at the time the order was placed. Please note that all shipping times are in business days. We currently offer 3 FedEx shipping methods for Domestic orders: Ground (5-7 business days), 2-Day Shipping, and Overnight Shipping.

*Note that there could be a delay in processing your order if we encounter any issues with the billing information provided.

+ What is the return policy?

HALSTON HERITAGE will accept returns* for items purchased on the Halston.com store within 14 days of delivery date for a refund and 30 days from delivery date for store credit. Returns received after 30 days from delivery date will not be accepted.

* Clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned.

International returns – The client is responsible for all duties, taxes or brokerage fees. If you return an item or refuse an item and we are charged a tax, that duty or tax amount will be deducted from your order total before we issue you a refund.

All returns must meet the following criteria: unworn, unwashed, all tags must be attached, all accessories must be included, no perfume or other scents, no human or animal hair, no rips or tears, no other signs of being worn all original packaging and hangers must be included.

Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.

+ How do I return an item?

You can request a return by logging into your account on the website. Here are the steps to do so: 

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. Go to Orders in the top right corner in the Account menu
  3. Select the order that you'd like to return 
  4. Click on "Download a Return Slip"

+ How can I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email containing your FedEx tracking number. If you have registered, you can also follow the progress of your delivery by signing into your account and selecting My Account followed by Order Status.

+ Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally via FedEx International.

+ How much duties and taxes will I have to pay?

Prices displayed on the website are exclusive of taxes. When you proceed to purchase your order, sales tax will be calculated on the retail merchandise value and shipping charges, and displayed on the Order Summary page.

Local sales tax will only be charged on orders if you are shipping within California, Texas, Illinois, New York, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.

HALSTON HERITAGE does not collect sales or use tax in any other states at this time, however, your purchase may be subject to local use tax unless it is exempt from taxation. It is your responsibility as the customer to report any purchases of tangible personal property that have not been taxed by Halston and pay use tax on those purchases unless exempt under local State law.

International orders do not include duties/customs with the shipping fee. When your order arrives at its destination, you will be required to pay all import duties, customs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order to release your order from customs. Customs will be based on the original retail price of the items purchased. 

+ What if I need to change or cancel my order?

You can cancel or update your order within 30 minutes of placing it. However, after this time, we are unable to make any changes to your order. If you have further questions or concerns, please reach out to customer service.

WAIST - Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape comfortably loose.

+ Do you have anywhere I can try things on?

HALSTON HERITAGE is available for try on at our flagship stores, and carried by some of the world’s most formidable retailers including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-A-Porter and Harvey Nichols. To find a store near you, please refer to our store locator.

+ How long does it take to process a return?

Once a return arrives at our warehouse it will take us 10 to 14 days to receive, inspect and process. You will be notified via email once your return has been completed. All returns will incur a $10 processing fee. Rejected returns will be sent back to the shipping address on your original order.

+ Can I return something I purchased online, in the store?

No, we only accept website returns through our online return process.

+ Will I be refunded the full value of my order?

You will be refunded for the value of your returned item and tax, minus the $10 processing fee. You will not be refunded original or return shipping costs.

+ Can I return final sale items?

Items that are final sale will have “Final Sale” on the product page as well as the cart when checking out. Unfortunately, no returns are allowed on final items.
